The Different Types Of Shoppers

Shopping is considered either fun and enjoying, boring and absurd, or a waste of time and money. Depending on the person the idea and thought of shopping varies. Shopping to some may seem like a chore and to others it may be relaxing or a way of life. The ones who enjoy shopping are buyers. Buyers are those who go shopping and are willing to buy anything at any price. Buyers use shopping as an escape from things or a way to relax from their hectic lives. For buyers, shopping can be an all day event, whether it's walking in the mall or going in and then back outside again to get to their car, it's like a routine to them. They know what they are doing and they know what they want or they just go shopping to buy because it makes them feel good. The weekly store sales or daily coupons that come in the newspaper attract another type of shoppers: bargain hunters. Bargain hunters also enjoy shopping, but instead of just buying anything for any price, they keep their eyes open for sales and good deals. These people are usually very conservative with their money and will do anything to get a product for a cheaper price than marked. In other words bargain hunters try to get the most for their money. They only purchase a product when they believe they are getting a good price for it. This type of shopper may consider looking around for good deals a lifestyle, but it can also become an obsession. The last type of shopper is the person who looks but never ever buys: the looker. This type of shopper may find shopping fun at first, but towards the end of their shopping experience they become tired and hopeless. This can be to the cause of many different things. It could be because everything is too expensive for their liking and they would rather not spend all their money on that one thing. Or maybe because they can never find anything that they like or don't feel like it is something they just have to buy. Just like the bargain hunter, the looker can also be conservative and sometimes just a little too much. It is harder for lookers to purchase anything because it seems more as if it was a chore than having a good time.
